Blood Angels descend upon us
Posted: 08 March 2010

The Blood Angels will be descending from the skies to grace us with their presence next month. These ferocious fighters are amongst the best the Imperium has to offer.  Having fought at the Emperor's side at the time of the Horus Heresy, the Blood Angels have continued to support the Emperor. However, some would say that they no longer fight for mankind but for themselves.
There are some fantastic miniatures coming in April.  These include several new characters and 3 new plastic box sets, Death Company, the Baal Predator (now can be fitted with a Flamestorm Cannon on the turret) and a new winged unit in the form of the Sanguinary Guard.

All these models are now available to advance order and are due to be released on Saturday 3rd April.

GF9 Pine Trees
Posted: 01 March 2010

Now in stock are the new Pine Woods from Gale Force 9.

These box sets are of a very high standard as you would expect from GF9.

Each set (Small and Large) contains 2 prepainted bases and several prepainted trees that are individually based.

The trees can be placed anywhere on the base and this allows you to place your models wherever you wish on the base by simply removing the trees.

Each box also contains a packet of static grass.

I was that impressed with them I actually bought 2 boxes of each for myself!!!

As well as the Pine Woods we also have the GF9 Rivers set and Rivers expansion sets.

News
Posted: 11 January 2010

As you may be aware, VAT has been increased to 17.5% as of the 1st January. I am afraid to say it’s not the only increase we have had to make.  Due to reasons beyond our control (GW reducing all online store’s discounts over the last few months), we have had to increase the prices on the website.

So, while changing the prices we took the opportunity to swap things around a little and start offering free shipping on all UK mainland orders over £20.  This resulted in an overall 15% discount on Games Workshop products, with an extra 1% discount on orders over £100 and 2% on orders over £250 across the store. This ensures that Gaming Figures remains one of the best places online for your stuff.

Other news; at some point this week we will be adding ‘Flames of War’ and ‘GF9’ products to our website. These will be available with a 10% discount off rrp. The ‘GF9’ range is very extensive and offers such things as plasti-card and plastic profiles for all our keen modellers and convertors out there. Also flocks, lichen, mosses, grass and sand for your gaming tables and bases. Also a comprehensive list of hobby tools of fantastic quality.

‘Flames of War’ is a fantastic WW2 game with an excellent set of rules and has some of the best 15mm miniatures we have ever seen. It’s taken all of us here by storm; we just can’t seem to get enough of it. eastern front book

We are also looking at increasing our product range in 2010, so if there are any particular products you think maybe suitable for us to stock please drop an email to admin@gamingfigures.com

‘Tyranids’ are available to advance order and should be in stock in time for their release date on the 16th January.

‘Beastmen’ are due out in February, closely followed by a host of new 40K miniatures in March to coincide with the ‘Battle Missions’ release.

Then April; we see the release of the new ‘Blood Angel’ codex. Apparently even more close combat orientated than ever before, if that is indeed possible  J

Once we have confirmation about the products, and their release dates, they will be posted up and available to advance order.
